Situation
You are referred a 75 year old with poor PFTs and proven 3cm by 3.5cm non small cell carcinoma, but the tumour is only removable via a lobectomy and they are not fit enough. What do you do ?
Refer for radiotherapy, if PFTs very
poor nothing as radiotherapy damages lungs.
