Situation

A patient with a 1.5cm peripheral nodule has a needle biopsy which reveals small ell carcinoma. They are fit and well what do you do ?

Opinion

If bone scan and CT head are clear, then a mediasteinoscopy even if the nodes are not enlarged. If fit and all the above are normal then perform a lobectomy and follow this by chemotherapy.
