Situation

A patient is not sure what lobe has previously been removed. There are no notes available. How can you deduce what has previously been removed ?

Inspection of the CT scan, looking at the bronchi and pulmonary arteries and veins. Bronchoscopy will definitely answer what lobe has been removed. Remember they may have had a wedge, not  a lobe!
