Situation

A patient who underwent a lobectomy 2 years ago presents with weight loss and loss of appetite. The CXR is unchanged. CT scan reveals mediastinal lymph nodes with are new and enlarged. What do you do ?

Opinion

Bronchoscopy may be helpful. The two options then are:

 

1. Repeat CT scan in 3 months time

2. Mediastinoscopy if not had before
