Opinion

It depends on the exact report. If they diagnose a specific condition eg hamartoma, aspergilloma etc, then carcinoma is less likely. If the report however does not make a specific diagnosis that is a plausible cause for a pulmonary nodule then the nodule should still be assumed to be potentially malignant. Beware of scar cancers
