Franck Antiques, 15"x22"

Nick Poullis was born in Henley-on-Thames in 1974 and grew up in Amersham.

He illustrated Hugh Montgomery's award winning children's book The Voyage of the Arctic Tern published by Walker books in the UK, USA and Australia.

He writes regurlarly for The Artist and The Artists and Illustrators magazine.

He has won awards at the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours and he won the Baker Tilly Award at the Royal Watercolour Society where he has exhibited regularly.

He has held many highly successful exhibitions in Amersham, Reigate, London and Henley-on-Thames and has work in the collections of Baker Tilly Chartered Accountants, the Royal Air Force, St Johns College, Cambridge and many private collections.

He was elected associate of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists in 1994, the youngest ever.

Nick has been a professional artist since soon after leaving university and now works with some of Englands leading commercial art galleries.
