    The Cardiothoracic Centre - Liverpool NHS Trust, which is a Centre of Excellence and is now one of the largest specialist heart and chest hospitals in the United Kingdom. A population of over 2.8 million is serviced by CTC and the geographical catchment area encompasses metropolitan Liverpool, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire, North Wales and the Isle of Man.
