Glycogenic Acanthosis
Glycogenic Acanthosis are small discrete elevations in the oesophageal mucosa. They have a whiter colour than the surrounding mucosa, due to a high content of glycogen. They do not have any clinical significance, and there is no need for biopsy or therapy.
