Dor repair

    The Dor antireflux procedure consists of a 180 degree anterior gastric fundoplication, with anchoring of the gastroplasty to the diaphragmatic crura. . It is commonly utilised in association with a Hellers cardiomyotomy.

Operation

The right margin of the gastric fundus is sutured to the left margin of the myotomy. The right margin of the myotomy is sutured to the the anterior aspect of the fundus. A second row of sutures anchor this to the right crus. Cross sections of Dor hemi fundoplication.
